The Salvation Army has recently completed its 31 Days of Dignity, an opportunity to regard the dignity of others through simple acts.
While the Army recognized May as Dignity Month, it also believes that treating individuals in a manner that supports a positive self-image is a year-round responsibility that we have. When we do this we are saying we are all the same, created with value and worthy of respect.
Dignity is cherished as a fundamental human right.
