Homeless Pair Start Downtown Delivery Business

CALGARY — Free of the dark cloud of crack addiction and despair, Tim Barber, it turns out, is quite a salesman.

He already has several pitches at the ready to turn people into paying customers for his new service delivering coffee, doughnuts and takeout food downtown.

The most effective might be that for a small delivery charge, you can avoid the long lineups at Tim Hortons and other restaurants around the core.

The most poignant pitch might be that he and his partner Chris Morris are homeless and getting their lives back on track with an entrepreneurial idea that could have legs.
