The Abbotsford Salvation Army operates many programs from their Centre of Hope. One of the most successful is the Cascade Culinary Arts School.

The 12-month program provides individuals with the training needed to find jobs as professional cooks in a growing food-service industry. Instructors are certified with extensive training, and the program features small class sizes, an industry standard curriculum and daily hands-on practice for students.

More than 90% of graduating students find employment in the food-service industry.
