Demand for heating help up: Salvation Army

P.E.I. – More people needed help heating their homes on P.E.I. this year, says the Salvation Army, which runs the provincial home heating assistance program.

The province put $200,000 into the program this winter, and some private businesses made contributions as well. About 370 homes in the Charlottetown area used the program, more than in the entire province last year. Read full story…
