Volunteer for a Real Social Need

Christmas dinner can be something some of us take for granted, but for those less fortunate it is a luxury they often cannot afford. In 2007, in 400 communities nationwide, The Salvation Army provided more than 150,000 Christmas dinners for the needy. Today, due to the economic downturn, the need to help those who have fallen on hard times is greater than ever.

By volunteering your time, you can make a difference in your community. On Christmas Day, the following Salvation Army centres across Canada are serving meals to those who need it most. Call and help give someone a special Christmas dinner.
