Ground breaking gets Gateway of Hope started

April 18th – Langley BC – Freezing winds and cool temperatures were suitable weather conditions for Friday’s ground breaking of the Gateway of Hope which, once built, will be able to shelter up to 55 of Langley’s homeless.

A lot of shovels had to be handed out to break ground on the site of the $14.1 million development at 5787 Langley Bypass. Salvation Army has partnered with its major provider of funds B.C. Housing, an arm of the provincial government, and the City and Township. A Salvation Army band played during the event. Read full article…
