April 4th – B.C. – The Salvation Army is tripling its daily meal production this week to help feed the city’s homeless during the temporary closure of the Our Place drop-in centre.
Our Place, a multi-faceted social agency, will be closed until Monday while the move is made from its interim quarters on Johnson Street to a newly constructed site on Pandora Avenue. Our Place is a combination of two long-serving organizations — the Open Door and the Upper Room. Read full article…
