March 18th, 2008 – PEI – Phones have been ringing off the hook at the Salvation Army on Prince Edward Island ever since the agency got a $200,000 government boost to help families pay for heating oil.
Since the provincial government announced the donation to the organization early last week, the Salvation Army has received hundreds of calls, said Maj. Derrick Barrow.
