Canadians Get Their Jingle Bells On

December 4th – On Saturday December 1st, close to 10,000 participants nationwide helped to raise funds for The Salvation Army. The annual Santa Shuffle family fun run and walk took place in 34 cities from St. John’s to Victoria with supporters coming together for fun, fellowship and a great cause.

“Over the last seven years we have raised more than two million dollars and we are looking forward to adding to this total from this year’s pledges.” Graham D. Moore, Salvation Army Territorial Headquarters, Public Relations and Development Secretary continues, “Proceeds from this event support our programs and services that give hope, helping women and children in crisis, providing food and shelter for the homeless and making Christmas a possibility for those in need.”
