Sally Ann marks 125 years

Tue, May 1, 2007 – London, ON – In 1882, two British lads dressed as “bobbies” created a ruckus by preaching loudly at the corner of Dundas and Wellington streets until they were chased to Market Square by a real London constable for blocking traffic.

Such was the humble origins of the Salvation Army in Canada, now a potent force in spiritual and social welfare across the country. Read full article…
