Cobourg, ON – Fireballs and black smoke engulfed Highway 401 yesterday after a multi-vehicle accident that killed two people and seriously injured several others in near whiteout conditions. The Salvation Army emergency disaster team responded quickly to the scene, serving coffee, water, hot chocolate, soup and stew to the responders and some of the people who were stranded from the accident.
