Canadians get their jingle bells on

Toronto, ON – Today, close to 10,000 participants nation-wide helped to raise funds for The Salvation Army Santa Shuffle. Held on the same day in 34 cities from St. John’s to Victoria, shufflers came together for fun and fellowship at the family fun run and walk.

“It is inspiring to see the spirit of Christmas and the generosity of Canadians.” Said Graham D. Moore, Salvation Army Territorial Headquarters,
Public Relations and Development Secretary. “Proceeds from this event will give hope today by helping women and children in crisis, feed and provide
shelter for the homeless and help make Christmas a possibility for those in need.”

The Salvation Army Santa Shuffle, a partnership with the Running Room, has raised close to two million dollars for The Salvation Army’s programs and
services.
