Almost a year ago, the Northwest Frontier region of Pakistan was devastated by a major earthquake. Once again, Canadians responded generously to The Salvation Army’s relief appeal, and the people of British Columbia were especially generous. The Salvation Army in Pakistan invited Captain John Murray to visit the region to see for himself the progress being made in re-constructing homes and infrastructure, using funds donated by Canadians. Captain Murray is the Army’s director of public relations and development in British Columbia. He spoke by phone from Pakistan.
