As the Salvation Army’s national Red Shield Campaign begins, one of the Army’s frontline officers has received a local award.
Major Neil Lewis; Executive Director of London’s Centre of Hope, was honoured by the Rotary Club with its 2006 Jack Burghardt service above self award for his tsunami, 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina disaster relief field work.
The award is named for the London TV broadcaster, MP, city controller, lay preacher and Rotarian known for his charitable work.
